15 March 1956 — 12 August 2026
Family and friends are warmly invited to join us in Cambridge on Thursday 27 August to remember Pat and to celebrate her life.
Pat was born in County Cavan and grew up in Kildare with her much loved brother Tony. She moved to England and began her nursing training, working at the Whittington in London. Here she met her lifelong friend Kay. She went on to work as an occupational therapist in mental health, spending the entirety of her professional life in the same way as her personal life, caring for people.
She met John in the Archway Tavern and they had Eamonn and Ciara. They built a life in Cambridge over the next thirty six years, where she developed a wide circle of close friendships. She was a fierce campaigner for what was right and volunteered her time to Wintercomfort and other charities. She was devoted to her grandchildren and loved laughter and music.
